What you'll learn...
...in this course
"Harvey has helped the One Roof team and the wider community get on top of our workflow tools to improve efficiency and collaborate effectively. We learnt features and certain settings that majorly improved the way we were using these tools."
Sheree Rubinstein, Founder, One Roof
Technology can be a powerful tool, but an equally frustrating and problematic one if used incorrectly. With more than 18 years of utilising technology in high performing teams, we’ll go through the features that actually matter and the ones you don't need to worry about. Our focus is on simplicity over complexity.
We’ll cover the fundamentals, best features of each tool, how they integrate plus provide examples of ways to use the tools in a team and workflow process. Importantly, we’ll go through the free-vs-paid features - and help you decipher whether you really need to pay.
Teams who have software like Slack, Asana or Google drive, but are either not using them or want to learn the best way to integrate them into their operations.
This course if for people who want to create less work, not more: It's for teams of 3 or more and want to have fewer meetings, work more efficiently, reduce mistakes and produce better work. If you have free or basic access to one or more of Slack, Asana, Google Drive/Gmail/Calendar, CRM, this is the course for you.
You're busy, and know these tools can help your team, but don't know how to get the most out of them. You want tips and ways to create real change, not basic tutorials!

Simon Smallchua, Founder
Simon has worked in technology and communications since he started building apps and websites as a developer at 19. He went on to lead teams and technology for companies in Australia and the US experiencing firsthand what works, what doesn’t and how the real-world application of technology will make or break it’s usefulness.
He’s run technology and marketing strategy teams, advising the biggest brands in the country, as well as managed and implemented smaller teams of 2-50. He’s won numerous national and international awards, presented at TED in Brazil and is a passionate believer in the power of business as a force for good.
He has a no-nonsense and relatable approach, and people have a tendency to leave his sessions feeling clear, informed and empowered to apply learnings to their team. He’s passionate about the details of technology, but more focused on the humans using it, ensuring it can make their lives better.
We spend a lot of time thinking about ways we can help create a sustainable future for our planet and the people on it. Businesses have the power to be a constructive or destructive force, which is the reason we’re selective about who we work with. By helping conscious businesses grow, we can help them increase their impact.
So when taking on a client, we assess whether they contribute to one or more of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). If they’re destructive on any goal we won’t work with them. Simple.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and play and we pay our respects to elders past, present & future.
